Climate-optimized, paintable, water-based stone chip protection.

  • Dries completely down to -10 °C
  • Fine and coarse structures can be sprayed depending on the application
  • Excellent anti-humming effect
  • Very high abrasion resistance
  • Suitable for oven drying
  • Very easy to sand once completely dry

Notice

  • Dries down to -10 °C. When painting, ambient influences must be taken into account. Do not spray on joints, engines, gears and brake systems. Dilution with water (max. 2 %) possible. With IR (infrared) drying, the following must be taken into account: Maximum drying time depends on the temperature, coat thickness, fresh air and air supply. The material must not be heated above max. 60 °C during IR drying, as blistering may occur.

Application area

  • For repairing and restoring the original texture and for protecting against stone chips and corrosion in all visible areas, e.g. front and rear bumpers, side members etc.

Instructions

  • Shake can well before use. The base material must be dry and free from rust, dirt and grease. Old coating compound should be removed. Can be painted over with all paint systems after approx. two hours (depending on the coat thickness), especially water-based paints. The optimum spraying distance is 20-30 cm. Spray a very thin coat for the first coat to provide improved adhesion and let it flash off for approx. three minutes. Then apply the required coat thickness. Allow each intermediate coat to flash off. Different textures are achieved by adjusting the compressed air and nozzle supply. Clean gun thoroughly using water after every use. Aqua gravel guard can be mixed with water-based paints to a proportion of up to 30 %. Dirty surfaces can be cleaned with water before drying fully. Once the product is completely dry, it can be painted over with commercially available 2-component acrylic paints and base coats. We recommend applying a primer before using 2-component acrylic paint. Operating pressure: 3-6 bar.
