Bulldog Gasket Shellac Compound (50ml)

Bulldog Gasket Shellac Compound is a specially prepared heavy bodied liquid compound for application on all types of automotive and other machinery gaskets and also for joining of threaded pipe joints. It resists the action of petrol, grease oil and water.

COMPOSITION
It is a solution of natural products such as Shellac, Rosin etc. in Spirit.

APPLICATION AREAS
In automotive , on head gaskets, pump gaskets, timing chain cover gaskets, gear box and differential gaskets etc. On machinery such as pumps,compressors,for sealing alongwith gaskets. For die casting and other industrial appicaion. Also used extensively for threaded pipe joints, mainly large diameter G.I. Pipes.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

For Application on Gaskets in Automotive & Machinery
Apply a thin even coat to both sides of the materials (gasket & metal) to be sealed. Allow to air dry till the film become tacky, then assemble gasket in position and bolt down.

For Joining of G.I pipe
Apply a thin coat on the male threads to be sealed and apply jute fibre over the shellac to act as a sealing filler. Once again coat the jute fibres with the compound to make a homogenous shellac and jute composite on the threaded portion. Assemble male and female joints as required.

Put to use in both cases after at least 6 hours. Full cure in 24 hours.

CLEANUP
Removal from body and parts can be done with ethyl alcohol,
isoprophy alcohol and acetone.

SAFETY INSTRUCTION
1.Keep away from children.
2.Aviod excessive contact with body. Clean with plenty of water in case of eye contact.
3.Cannot be ingested. Lethal if ingested.
4.Do not induce vomitting,in case of ingestion. Consult a physician immediately.
5.Contain solvents.Do not inhale or used in closed spaces.
6.Inflammable. Keep away from heat and flame.
